AFX Lighting

Founded in 1938 by William Rusnak in Chicago, AFX Lighting initially sold linear fluorescent light fixtures, inspired by the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. The company gained early success, flourishing under the leadership of Rusnak's son-in-law, Jerry Solomon, from 1959, and later his grandson, the current CEO. Evolving with technology, AFX shifted its focus to LED lighting, prompting a name change in 2012 to reflect its broader, more decorative product range. 

Now based in Waukegan, IL, AFX Lighting offers a variety of elegant, impactful lighting products designed in-house, emphasizing innovation, quality, and the latest technology.
